This festival is celebrated in the joy of this victory and as a hope that the good will always win over evil. It is observed in the Kartik month of the Hindu calendar.
The autumn season celebrates it with all the joy. Navratri comes with a lot of positivity and emotions.
We at Digilytics are quite particular about celebrating all the festivals together. This time, we celebrated Diwali at a get together wherein we played games and exchanged gifts.
Our HR team initiated an activity where we had to send our pictures with a diya or any other Diwali article (a decorative item, toran, sweets, rangoli, etc).

Digilytics AI celebrated Diwali Virtually on 17th October 2017. All employees from our teams gathered together to bond, share sweets and candlelight to celebrate Diwali with the family of Digilytics AI. Diwali is the biggest festival for Indians, celebrated with much enthusiasm and devotion, as it signifies the victory of good over evil.
Digilytics celebrated this festival by making earthen lamps with diyas [lamps made from clay and oil] filled with ghee and rangoli patterns painted by each employee. The earthen lamps created were gifted to all the employees on behalf of company.
The festival is celebrated by lighting up homes, businesses and community centers with candles, oil lamps and decorative lights. With Diwali celebrations starting to heat up in India, we thought it would be a great time to celebrate the festival virtually with our employees around the world.
Diwali is a celebration of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and light over darkness. We are proud to be an organization that celebrates diversity, knowledge and good over ignorance and evil. We have never felt more connected or supported as a team (even when we are not physically together) and this Diwali feels like a celebration of that feeling.
